Stayed here many times.Staff are always friendly. Rooms are clean & never had a bad meal.It's a nice place to stay
The T5 Travelodge is easily visible from the M4. Which is probably as close as most people will come, as the access route is not signposted and every navigation system including Google will take you to a DHL facility less than 20 yards from the hotel, from which there is no hotel access. When you call the front desk for directions you will be told that lots of people find the hotel so it is not a problem. If you persist in asking for directions you'll get sent off towards Terminal 4, which is of course a couple of miles away from the hotel. So basically unless you already know how to reach the hotel, or you're prepared to spend more than the 75 minutes I spent trying to find some way to reach it, you'll be better off booking into a hotel that actually has signposts directing you to it. This hotel, and its staff, are essentially unreachable.
Very nice and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was brilliant.The only down side was the stay is very affordable but if u add the parking.we could have stayed at a nicer place with free parking
Reason for the low score is their car park. It is TOO narrow and I scratched my rental car going down the ramp from the top level. Never scratch a car in a parking house, this simply was to narrow (even for my medium sized car (not big at all). There was LOTS of markings on the parking wall, hence I was not the only one ! Please also look on other reviews that mentions the same, be careful with your car. Pizza in their restaurant had 8 pieces of chicken on it, clearly running out. Room was clean big and affordable with great shower, hence the 2 stars despite the car which means I will never stay there again.
I tend to stay at one of 2 travel lodge's when I go away for training and out of the 2 I find that this one is the better of the 2. Its a travel lodge so nothing overly special. Most of the staff are happy and helpful and there's more about than there used to be so you normally get seen to with any issues. The breakfast isn't the greatest but has enough to choose from. The meals have improved greatly although not too notch they are of a good standard and filling. You can take food back to your room too. The rooms are more than adequate for one person even a couple so again no complaints there.My complaints would be the parking is terrible the car park is too small and doesn't have the capacity for the hotel.My other niggle being the room service didn't get to my room till about 5 in the afternoon when I had gotten back
