The receptionist Shamim has a very warm, friendly and empathetic disposition at all time and is very patient .Shamim probably doesnt even know that I suffer from an invisible debilatating illness/ME and fibromyalgia but a few spoken words of kindness can make someones day. Most staff members are very professional and competent including Dr Tavraj, Dr Darr, Manpreet and the warm practising manager. They have done exceptionally well considering they have to face NHS funding cuts and have to follow the regulations and guideliness from NHS England- its not the surgerys fault when they cant book an appointment for us as soon as we require one!
Absolutely appalling surgery. I have been suffering from severe stomach and back pain everytime I eat fir the past week now have tried to make an emergency appointment and the rude receptionist took my name and date of birth then said to me you have to ring up at 8 in the morning to make an appointment. Explained to her the pains are severe but she doesn't want to know. Have had similar problems before when trying to make appointments. This surgery is going from bad to worse. Stay away if you care about your health. If I could give it zero stars I would.
One star is overrated for this surgery. Had my my health assessment with Nuffield private healthcare. Found my hemoglobin level was very low. Nuffield sent an urgent email to surgery for me to be seen by GP to get a referral to the private specialist. One week has gone by - no call from Bharani med centre. They ignored the urgent email!!! sent from private hospital. After a week I had to call myself to make an appointment. I was seen by Dr Bharan Kumar. The first thing he asked was how come do I have a low hemoglobine? Wow! Doctor B Kumar, how did you become a GP?! Am I supposed to self diagnose myself? Luckily, I have BUPA, the only thing Dr B Kumar had to do is to refer me to a private specialist. I had to explain him even how to do this as he admitted that he never came across private health assessment and he did not know how it works. What a shambles! I really have a doubt not that a
My family and I have been patients at this surgery and lansdowne nearly all my life and now my daughter is too. I have always experienced exceptional service from the nurses and doctors at both surgeries. The doctors always listen and I have had little problem seeing a doctor when needed
Im really sad to hear such poor reviews about this surgery. Fortunately for myself and my family, all staff that we have dealt with have been extremely professional and understanding. The doctors have always offered us fantastic level of care and attention to all of our concerns. All staff have been very helpful and polite. We have been with this surgery for 12 years and any complaints that I might of had, have been concerning consist busy tone on the phone line when calling, therefore not being able to get through. This has been rectified by a call queuing service installed by the surgery. Another would see that on occasions there has been a two week wait to see a doctor, but I think this is normal across the board for non-emergency appointments? I think the surgery is probably due a well deserved and well overdue facelift to make the interior environment feel more welcoming.
