I've only been a patient here a short while and compared to my previous practice, I'm really impressed with the service and professionalism. First time I saw a GP and he was the one who recommended I see him for an appointment after an original telelphone consult. I was seen immediately. He actually looked at me (at my previous centre they wouldn't even look you in the eye or acknowledge you) and treated me as a person and took on board what I was saying and we had good back and forth in terms of communication. He has referred me for some tests and a specialist. More progress in one visit than several years at Bahrani Medical centre. Also to add, the receptionist Tina was extremely helpful in advising me, answering my queries and didn't brush me off at all despite how busy they are.
Impossible to them for appointments, its absolutely rediculous!!
These receptionist completely incompitent to do their jobs. Lazy to do basic things and at the end sent me somewhere else. Avoid if you can
Well I can only speak about my experience which has been since 2013. So for the past 5 years I never had any issues with the hershel medical centre. Be it in booking appointments or in getting the required treatment done. Of course there were days when I could not get the appointment on the days I wanted, but it's Ok, you just adjust accordingly. The medical staff is skilled Like any other NHS staff.But you need to bear in mind this is not your typical private clinic, who obviously charge hefty amount for the services, which is obviously reflective of the money they charge!
Minus star if I could rate this please. Been with them all my life and still the same or worst. Very rude receptionist - at least not all of them to be fair. All I get was go away and come back another time or see how luck you are to get through the line every morning because they are busy!! No chance to see a doctor unless I go to A&E with them I guess. Overall experience - they can't wait to get rid of you because they are very busy therefore you should appreciate the time we are talking to you.
