not that great need a lot of improvements -- say 'book online' when not all the doctors are listed as in other surgeries are and none of the nurses are listed either bit silly and annoying especially as it saves time. Whereas Dr Sharma being a good doctor I don't think so - looked disgusted when asked to do a simple urine test, when that is common practice for all doctors if needed. Never had a problem with other doctors when asked to do it (my last GP practice) she expects you to have it sent away to hospital every time when that is wasting Hospital resources considering it only takes a min. to do. They only sent to Hospital if there was something that need more investigating. Not only that most medication that should be provided by your doctor she expects you to buy over the counter, if you have a vitamin deficiency for an example which they determine via blood test, so they give you first supply and then say buy over the counter high dosage how would you know if you're not overdosing on the supplement dangerous if you ask me.
Very difficult to get appointments, after calling for two days to get my 18months old son appointment , I was asked to go to walk in centre. The lady I spoke was really rude, no empathy at all. She shouldnt be doing this job if she has no clue about having empathy towards people. Im definitely leaving the surgery going to where I dont have to be using the walk-in centre all the time.
Dr sharma is a good doctor always helpfull, but the reception staff can be a bit rude, when I put a repet prescription test in for my monthly medication my inhaler for asthma was not given as I had run out I was left without a inhaler all weekend. I phoned reception on the Monday and the receptionist said she will put a prescription into the chemist for me for the inhaler, I went to the chemist to get the inhaler the next day (Tuesday) and was told there was no inhaler, so going back into the surgery I explained and was told you need a asthma review, which is fine as I wasn't told before that I need a review, I told the reception staff that my inhaler has run out and Iv been without a inhaler all weekend the receptionist say can't give me one until I have a asthma review. I am not happy about this as asthma can be life thretning as Iv already been in intensive care while not being able to breath and the surgery have not given me the medication I need.
