Had an accident and my insurance company recommended sending the car there for a repair. The repair took 3 months to complete, with minimal communications, other than to give me a completion date which wasn't met in the end. The car was returned to me with obvious issues which should have been picked up during quality assurance before handing it over. A week later it developed a horrible noise from the rear suspension. They finally booked the car in claiming that one of the parts required took 2 weeks to arrive with them. Then 3 weeks on, they've still not managed to put the issue right, and seem to be absolutely incapable of keeping me posted. What's worse is they are terrible at managing expectations. I have been told "the car would be ready by tomorrow" or "I'll call you with an update by lunchtime" on at least 4 occasions, and nether ever materialise. In a nutshell, extremely slow (probably due to high volume of cars they repair), terrible comms, poor quality assurance processes, and incapable of keeping their customer informed / managing expectations. The net result is that I have now been without my car for nearly 4 months and Rainbow Prestige don't seem too bothered by that at all. I would avoid this repairer in the future.
Unfortunately I had to get my car repaired here after being hit into by another car. My wing mirror was completely gone so had to be replaced . I wasn't happy with the job (plus there was also another issue that I was actually going to get sorted and it was a struggle for me to even get them to agree they were at fault for but luckily I took before photos) so went back to get it sorted and thought I'd mention the wing mirror whilst I was there. The guy pushed it back down into place and was like.. there you go sorted.... As I sat back in my car I kept comparing both mirrors and noticed they weren't uniform so knew it wasn't 100%. I decided not to complain about in the end as it was a task to go there with a complaint in the first place plus they would probably laugh at me and think I'm a perfectionist ( if you saw the state of my room at times you will know I'm far from it ) Anyway to cut a long story short it's months later and there are occasions when I have to fold my mirrors in, the original mirror folds back to place seamlessly with no gaps yet the repaired one doesn't, I'm even pondering whether it is a part directly from manufacturer or a shoddy copy....
