I called in advance to ask if it was okay to pop in at 5pm and show them my car, as I knew they closed at 5:30pm. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and said no-one will be there at 5pm. I had to remind her of her closing times to which she then said, Well, it will be dark at 5pm, so how can the mechanic look at my car? I responded by saying It gets dark at 4pm, do you turn away all your customers for the last hour and a half of the day? She then rudely told me I could come in, but said she cant guarantee someone will look at my car. When I got there, I got a bit lost, as SatNav directs you to their repair shop and not Reception. I had to call again to ask for directions and was again spoken to in a rude manner. It is almost as if they dont want customers. I eventually got there and the quote I got was approximately 200 more than another quote I got from a nearby repair body shop. They also said theyd need to keep my car for four-five days, where the other place said they would only need to keep it overnight. I politely declined. The mechanic who spoke to me was polite and another mechanic was so helpful he helped me to reverse my car out into the main road for me.

Bad experience for me. My car went in through a 3rd party Insurance claim. I dropped it off on the Tuesday afternoon and mentioned that I was going away early Friday morning to Europe and I should be back by Tuesday the following week so will collect on the Wednesday. On the Friday afternoon I got a phone call saying the car was ready. I said to them that I did say I was going away so thus I can not collect. They then said they can drop the car at my house and put the keys in the letterbox box to which I said no I do not want people driving my car. I was then called on the monday and told that my special registration plate was not ordered as they cant find one that can print the special numbers on the bottom and that I should just collect the car and come back to fit plate. I said I'm not driving up and down and I will collect the car when it's already including the number plate being fitted. The registration plate should have been ordered on the following day not after the spray job was complete. I then gave them the number and name of the company that got the plate for me in the first instance they then called me back and said that they need me to order the plate and pay for it and just claim the money back. I called the company and they said no as long as they body shop would pay them they would apply then send it within 3 days. I called rainbow body shop back they said no problem they would order the plate and I said ok I will come back on Friday when the plates ready to fit to which they apparently called the insurance company and said the job is complete and I do not want to collect my car. I then received a call from the car hire company asking me to please return the car hire as the car hire will be stopped by midnight luckily the plate arrived on the Wednesday and I managed to collect the car on the Wednesday. My car was returned to me uncleaned and left sat outside in the rain with Polish marks all over it so I could hardly see if the job is good or not likely so far it looks ok.
I could not believe how rude the customer service man was, unbelievable!The car was booked in for a repair today, all I asked was ' what time will you be picking it up' apparently as I had not asked for a specific time when booking they have no idea what time they might come, how very relaxed of them!
