Allah had blessed me to be able to go to Hajj with my husband in August 2018 with Siraat Tours it was a wonderful experience and i cannot thank Siraat Tours enough. From a female perspective they ensured everything was covered to fine details including having a female rep with the ladies at all times during the hajj. this really helped during mina, Arafat & muzdalifah. having a female to speak to about any problems etc is such an important issue that not many groups cover. I never once felt at unease and quite the opposite they made us all feel like family. If Allah would give me the pleasure of going to Hajj again i would use siraat tours.
Thanks to Allah myself & my wife had the pleasure of going to Hajj in 2018 and we decided to book through Siraat Tours as myself and my son had gone to Umrah with Siraat Tours earlier in the year and that in itself was a beautiful experience. From the initial booking to leaving Medina to come back to the Uk we always felt at ease. Never once was there a situation that wasnt dealt with in a humble manner. We had to attend a day seminar few weeks before our flight this seminar really helped us to meet others of the group before the trip and to understand fully what we were going to do. The seminar covered the whole procedure of Hajj in from a Fiqh perspective but covered from all schools of thought. They demonstrated how men can out on a ihram, they explained the logistics as well in terms of transfers and what time etc from arriving through hajj itself and for the 2 weeks after hajj with dates and approx times which meant we had a good understanding of how many days we were going to be at one place. They had all the learned scholars, imams, muftis that were going to accompany the groups there as well and introduced them and they themselves individually gave a short sermon on hajj itself. Once we got to Jeddah despite all the horror stories of the past spending more than 12 hours in immigration, we were on a coach in about an hour and half from leaving the aeroplane. We went to Azizya as this is where we staying which is on the outskirts of Mecca. Now most people look at the accommodation and judge from there however never judge a book by its cover. Best way to describe the azizya accommodation it is like student halls four single beds in a room with ensuite shower, toilet but not fancy basic. So even though i was with my wife we had to stay in separate rooms this meant immediately we got to know new people in our group. The food supplied is a simple buffet and its typical food we would make at home. For our meals we had to go to the basement so again we get to sit with other members of our hajj group and this helped create a bond that is still going today and may Allah make it continue. The downside people see is that Azizya is a taxi or coach ride from Mecca so our daily prayers during Hajj itself was difficult to do in mecca however this meant most time we did our own jammaats in the azizya downstairs this was even more amazing because from this the learned leaders of the group would give special talks on hajj and many other aspects of Islam. Once we were at azizya we rested for a bit and then went to mecca to perform umrah via coach. We returned to azizya and then the next day we went to stay at Mina. In Mina the accommodations are big tents with basically a coffin size space for each person. They have cold air fans and i never felt boiling hot inside the tent which made the stay at Mina very easy in terms of people in the past not having this luxury and having to bare the heat. We carried out our Hajj pilgrimage going to Arafat, Muzdalifah, the stoning of Shertaan & never once did we have any issue as the brothers worked tirelessly round the clock. At mina the food is provided by the government again the food is alhumdulilah of all varieties. some nights chicken and chips, some nights naan and daal, chicken and rice etc. At Arafat again you had tents with air con and food and drink was provided. in Muzdalifah you sleep outside but in the morning the still gave out breakfast boxes to everyone. Once Hajj was done we stayed in Aziya for a few more days before transfer to the Fairmount in the Clock Tower in Maccah we stayed there for 6 days and then transferred to the Hilton in Madina. During this time they took us out on Ziyarah trips around Makkah and Madina. If we had an issue or problem (alhumduliah we didnt) they would deal with it immediately. Once it was time to head back to the UK the next bit shows you how much effort and love they showed us they took us via coach to the airport and once there ensure everyone was checked in and gone through the gate. Beautiful and amazing is the way my parents and brother described their recent umrah trip! I would like to say my parents n my brother had an amazing time and have not stopped praising Ustadh Mohsin and the blessed umrah tour arranged by him . They loved the group and are missing everyone. The memories have been further enhanced by the professionalism of Siraat Tours and especially Ustadh Mohsin and his lovely family. From start to finish everything was dealt with efficiently and without any hitches. The accommodation was first class .. literally! My parents have said if they ever got a chance to go again it would be with Siraat Tours inshalla and have not stopped recommending this company to everyone. Inshalla I plan to go soon with my family and will definitely be going with Siraat Tours.. Jazakhalla for making it such a spiritual and memorable trip for my parents and brother.
Like most of the others in our group, this was my first time for Umrah. The only expectations I had were for my parents to have a satisfactory and enjoyable experience, and this was borne true thanks to the efforts of Siraat Tours and Islamhood. The tone was set at the pre-meeting which proved to be extremely beneficial, and gave us all an idea of what to expect. Hotel accommodation was exemplary, and enhanced by being close to the Mosque(s). The site visits were particularly educational and made memorable by our Group Leader Mohsin's extensive knowledge of the area and it's history, and we particularly enjoyed the visits to the kiswah cloth-making factory and the Islamic museum in Mecca. Mohsin's evening discussions were both edifying and thought provoking, and the group members were quite lively in sharing their views, which is how it should be. I have to say that i really enjoyed being part of this group, which in my father's words was more like a family, and this was due in no small part to Mohsin and Anissa who engendered a feeling of camaraderie. i recall the impromptu visits to get tea, and the chats that took place afterwards. I really appreciated the kindness and help everyone extended towards my parents, especially by all my able-bodied younger brothers, and my new cool nephew Zain.All in all, a great experience enhanced by all the wonderful people in our group, and once again, special mention must be made of Mohsin's professionalism and ability to maintain a calming presence throughout our time together.
My elderly parents did their first Umrah in Feb 2018! Alhamdulillah they had an amazing time and an exceptional spiritual experience! MashaAllah this was all down to Siraat tours and Ustadah Mohsin who went over and above to personally look after them and attended to all their needs and made sure they did not miss out on any of the excursions or any of the religious sights ! I strongly recommend anyone considering doing the Holy Pilgrimage to only go with Siraat Tours!
