This school is awesome
Came to the school in year 8. Had a great time, and actually kind of miss it. Despite not seeing eye to eye with some teachers, overall I learnt a lot and had fun. I'm now at university studying chemistry and the school set me up for my future as best it could.
The school is an absolute shambles. There have been drugs incidents in the past couple of years, a couple of students expelled because of this. I would definitely NOT recommend this school. All the other reviews which say this school is great are not true. The teachers are a disgrace, they do not help at all, they basically hate all of the pupils. The revision sessions are not helpful at all as the teachers give the students sheets and just sit at the front of the class on the computer doing God knows what. There has also been a campaign called Bricks4Burnham, don't know what happened to that as they have been talking about building a new gym, changing rooms and sixth form common room for the last five years. Have no idea what happened to all the money fundraised. So like I said this school is an absolute shambles.
