Very busy after school. Lots of weight available, gym equipment well maintaining. Most of the times don't have to wait for equipment to be use. Big parking space outside.
Selection of machines and equipment is poor compared to the Reading and Oval branch. The manager needs to consider space planning and reducing equipment that is used less I.e. I come in at busy times 4- 8pm weekdays and the treadmill machine are never all used at the same time. Unnecessary amount of treadmills!
Great gym except the free weights area definitely needs tidying up and being kept tidy. Reply to Henry: I'm always filling the surveys and have spoken to people before but the tidiness issue hasn't changed in Burnham. I would suggest you speak to the Reading Puregyms as for how they keep their gyms tidy, I rarely see a problem with dumb bells being in random places so it takes a while to find a pair. Maybe they tidy up once a day or more to encourage the gym users, who are the ones who cause the mess, to keep the place tidy too? No idea but there's definitely little or no problems there. Thanks.
Always clean. Staff are always helpful. The app allows you to see how busy the gym is.Classes are always challenging and enjoyable for all levels of fitness.
Weights area is so humid its hard to breath especially after a heavy legs workout! To be fair they did try to fix it recently but didn't work. Otherwise cheap and convenient with almost all equipment you need.
