Living in Harmony is a locally based organisation in Slough of which Im a member. The group has been running for 2 years and is progressing well; the first year was mainly about awareness and putting governance in place and trying out different forms of engagement and the best way to help its followers. The second year has shown even more promise because it fits with the ethos of Slough Wellbeing, Balance and Empowerment.How? Because Living in Harmony was one of the first groups to start seated chair yoga and the benefit it can bring especially if you are a wheelchair user. It also fits well with the Slough Wellbeing Board priorities for Obesity, Poverty and Social isolation. Living in Harmony has helped so many people with their lifestyle, besides my own, I myself have lost an incredible amount of weight from joining with her and I highly recommend it to everyone!
