I have always had a great experience with the delivery system and service until yesterday, when the pharmacy attandant refused to give out an emergency prescription for my son who is 11 and suffers from a skin condition that gets worse by the day if appropriate medication is not applied in timely manner. My son's skin is now showing signs of being infected , let alone the fact that he did not sleep last night and was extremely late for school as he was still tired . My son is still up scratching his infected skin and it's midnight. The skin condition has deteriorated within 24 hours and the same atandant did not follow up with the GP and still refused to give out the emergency medication on the ground that there was another emergency prescription request sent by the doctors 6 months ago and they can not give 2 consecutive emergency prescriptions. What is the meaning of this.??? consecutive when the last request was sent 6months ago for a topical steroid. We have lived with my son's condition since he was 3 weeks old and l know when there is a need to call for emergency treatment and when an urgent response is required to contain my son's condition. So now she will be happy that l have not slept in 2 nights, my son has not slept in two nights and l am missing work tomorrow morning to take my son to the GP as he now requires treatment for the infection that could have been prevented. My son has lost 2 days worth of school if not more as his condition worsens whilst the attandant holds the emergency prescription that was precribpre by a qualified GP who was aware of the need for the emergency treatment inorder to contain the flares and the infection. This women has no clue as to the distress this has caused to my son who as l write this, is sitting on the edge of his bed scratching uncontrollably and bleeding because the infection is taking over his body. I am up sitting here helpless watching my son in agony whilst watching the clock for morning time. His condition does not warrantee an emergency room trip as it is not life threating. But the cost to the NHS for advanced treatment s now required , my Job, my time, my son's time and the agony he is going through is imeasurerable. Let alone the effects of something that could have been easily contained had l received the prescription. The attandant must have been on a mission as she was also refusing another patient who had come to collect strips for diabetes machine callibration and another lady who was being quizzed over a prescription. This is abhoringly ridiculous and absurd. Pure abuse of power and authority. I am cancelling my whole families prescription collection agreement with this pharmacy as the distress this has caused is just beyond measure.

Very helpful and good advice

Just so convenient. There is also a dentist surgery in the same building. Have had nothing but good experiences from both. Open early, close late and available on weekends.

Very helpful and friendly pharmacist. Open till late, quick service, medicines delivered to home, located next to surgery, plenty of on road parking without restrictions. Will recommend

Moonlight Pharmacy have a brilliant team who are constantly happy to answer any question, they make you feel extremely comfortable and are always approachable.
