The staff and service are very thorough and helpful. I think the private rooms really need updating , the food is simple and varied , though not having a wine list or other forms of alcohol should be available even if just for guests. My main comment is that I disagree with discharging patients, after such a short period of time 3-5 days for major surgery?: which can cause some feelings of insecurity . The method being with physio, is to get the patient on their feet as soon as possible , regardless of wether their capabilities may be different in each patient . 3 short lessons on crutches and stairs, is hardly enough to prepare them for negotiating their way round hazards at home, plus lots of unanswered questions about increasing pain relief how much? and when? how to detect infection if the wound is hot or swollen. Fortunately there is loads of answers on Google, but then not everyone does that. I know there is probably a good reason for getting patients back to normal as soon as possible, but this is not the NHS and lack of beds, and the after care is very important as Im sure you would agree.
Nice private hospital but a difficult commute. I unfortunately ran myself into the ground during employment here but I was given opportunities for growth.
